The
Modu-Flow collector design is unique, patented, and offers many features not offered by
other manufacturers. The cartridge orientation in the collector housing permits a greater
utilization of space with an improved internal air flow. Unlike the Modu-Flows
competitors, the dirt-laden air enters at the top and is filtered by rows of staggered
cartridges. Collected material then discharges away from the incoming air stream and
between cartridges. By adding various modules, the Modu-Flow can be expanded and tailored
to fit your specific dust collection needs.

Application: The Modu-Flow collector
is typically used to remove airborne particulate from process air. Air to media ratios are
determined by the nature and quantity of material being removed. In the Modu-Flow, filter
media is cleaned by the back draft air pulse method; damp, fibrous, and statically charged
materials are not easily removed. Normal air to media ratios will be from 1 to 3.5 CFM per
ft2 of media.
Applications include a wide range of materials such as welding fume, powder paint, and
grinding dust. Air Equipment & Engineerings personnel can provide information on
additional applications
Construction: The
Modu-Flow collector housing is fabricated from 11 gauge welded steel. External surfaces
will be factory primed and finish painted unless otherwise specified. Collector housings
are designed to withstand a pressure of +/_24" H2O, wind load of 100 mph,
and a Zone 3 seismic rating.
All Modu-Flow collection units are factory furnished with standard support legs
(48" clearance under the discharge flange), Magnahelic TM differential
pressure gauge, solid-state cleaning timer, pulse cleaning pilot and diaphragm valves,
standard 225 ft2 filter cartridges, and installation and maintenance manuals.
Dimensions and Specifications:
(Note: All models can be furnished as banked units consisting of two or more modules.)
